Le Centre d’art et de diffusion CLARK is looking for its next General and Artistic Co-Director - Programming.

Under the authority of the board of directors and in close collaboration with the General and Artistic Co-director, Administration, and the members, the General and Artistic Co-Director - Programming, develops the centre’s vision and activities while overseeing strategic planning and administrative management of activities and operations. The co-director supervises and coordinates the programming and is responsible for human resources management (about six people). In addition to specific tasks, the General and Artistic Director - Programming, contributes to bringing the centre’s projects to completion and defines the general issues in its development. In constant dialogue with the team and the members, the Co-Director develops projects and safeguard’s the centre’s artistic vision. This multiskilled person has excellent leadership skills and acts as an essential driving force for the synergy and dynamism of CLARK.

Between 5 and 10 years of experience relevant to the position.
University degree in visual arts, art history, or museology.
Studies or professional experience in management an asset.

Skills required
Indisputable interest in contemporary art and knowledge of field
Knowledge of human and financial resources management
Excellent sense of organization 
Very good stress management and compliance with schedules
Experience in project management and ability to manage priorities
Excellent spoken and written French and English; ability to write effectively
At ease in a Mac computer environment 
Familiarity with the Office Suite, the Google Suite, and videoconference platforms
Familiarity with Photoshop and InDesign an asset

Employment conditions
- 30 hours per week
- Hourly wage between $22 and $24 (according to experience) upon hiring, with annual increases planned according to the pay policy in force
- Six weeks of vacation (July and winter holidays)
- Date of hiring: early or mid-August 2022, to be discussed
