For the past 28 years, this evening has brought together art lovers, adventurous collectors and brilliant artists who wish to support CLARK’s vision, programming and activities. Centre CLARK’s auction is the oldest contemporary art auction in Montréal. The funds raised will help us to produce special projects, further establish our residency program and sustain our regular program of exhibitions and mediation activities. The exciting quality of the art practices presented at this auction is consistent with the excellence of the work included in our gallery’s programming.
Each year comes with its share of great reasons to contribute to Centre CLARK, but this year, CLARK strongly needs your support to develop two important unifying and structuring projects. First, Truck Stop is an art event co-presented with l’Œil de Poisson (Québec City), in which artworks by 15 artists will be shown along Highway 20 between Montréal and Québec City. The second project, though no less important, is the gradual reimplementation of the CLARK residency space, where we plan to welcome artists, writers and curators.
So come on out to support these initiatives and the Centre that will make them happen by buying work from these talented and generous artists.
