This publication was published by the Center d’art et de diffusion CLARK following the 11th Pančevo Biennial of Visual Arts in Serbia and Montenegro in 2004, which had “values” as its theme. For this work, Igor Antić, artist and curator, and Svetlana Mladenov, director of the Biennial, invited Nathalie de Blois to curate the Montreal component. The event, which brought together about sixty artists from fifteen countries included eight artists from Montreal : Jean-Pierre Aubé, Mathieu Beauséjour, Gwenaël Bélanger, Patrick Bernatchez + Gennaro De Pasquale, Sylvie Cotton, Michel de Broin et César Saëz. Bernard Schütze was also present as an art critic and participated in the publication.
