Last October, CLARK members raised the need for action on the part of the organization. In December, CLARK committed to creating a space for a community discussion. With this in mind, CLARK developed a partnership with the Montreal Arts Coalition for Palestine. It was from this long-term exchange that the proposal for a workshop and discussion for the Centre’s communities was born.

The presentation is developed by the Montreal Arts Coalition for Palestine, and aims to share resources for artists and cultural organizations, focusing on the BDS and PACBI initiatives.

It will be followed by a workshop on possible ways of supporting artists, curators, cultural workers and researchers who are subject to sanctions because of their denunciation of the violence still enacted on Palestinians amongst others.

The hour-long presentation will be given in French. Simultaneous translation and hard copies of the presentation will be available in English. The workshop will be held in French and English.
