Since 2003, the Poste audio has served as a platform attuned to the most innovative practices, supporting initiatives that foreground a diversity of modes of experiencing and presenting sound art. Its mandate is to promote and disseminate experimental practices by championing under-represented disciplines such as electroacoustics, field recording, soundscape, and sound poetry and scenography. The Poste audio pays particular attention to cultural diversity, intergenerational exchange, and equity in gender and career stage among the artists it presents.

The Poste audio programming unfolds in the glass-walled space at the Centre’s entrance over five six-week periods, from September to June. Submissions received through the annual call are reviewed and selected by CLARK’s Poste audio committee, made up of its members and staff. CLARK presents five sound art projects per programming year.
