Residencies

Centre d’art et de diffusion CLARK structures its residency program around specific calls for projects, developed in response to contexts of research, creation, and the circulation of contemporary artistic practices. These calls are created in collaboration with a network of partners at the international level (France, Spain, South Korea, Japan), interregional level (Chaudière-Appalaches and Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean), and local level, thereby fostering exchange, artist mobility, and the cross-pollination of perspectives. The program as a whole aims to provide artists with conditions conducive to experimentation, research, and production, while also encouraging professional encounters and forms of dissemination tailored to the projects developed during the residency.

• Montréal/Nantes artist-members cross-residency with collectif Bonus, les ateliers d’artistes de la ville de Nantes;
• Québec/Tokyo cross-residency through Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec (CALQ);
• Québec/Séoul cross-residency through Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec (CALQ);
• Montréal/Chaudière-Appalaches cross-residency with artist-run centre Est-Nord-Est in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli;
• RELIER micro-publication program with artist-run centre SAGAMIE in Alma;
• Montreal-based residency program with SBC Galerie d’art contemporain in Montreal.
