Discussion
Tuesday January 14, 6pm

This activity with KIBIAN aims to close her cross-residency with the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art and the Conseil des arts et lettres du Québec. Join us to learn more about the artist’s research during her three-month residency at CLARK!
KIBIAN studied sculpture at Seoul National University (South Korea) and The Slade School of Fine Art in London (England). Her works explore layered narratives of places, drawing inspiration from their history, culture, geography, myths, and oral traditions. KIBIAN is interested in constructing identity and examining how human knowledge—both tangible and intangible—circulates globally. Over time, this interest has expanded her creative practice into other fields, including theatre, film, disability art, public engagement projects, and performance videos.
