This publication brings together works on light, or at least on its essence from a philosophical and aesthetic point of view. Yann Pocrea  has conceived the book in the manner of an exhibition, each page interacting with the next through meticulously chosen details so that our perception changes with each reading. Three authors took part in the writing process, offering different perspectives on Pocreau’s vast and intriguing work.

The artist’s relationship with art and the world was profoundly transformed as a result of an arts residency at the Mont-Mégantic Observatory. The ineffable and impermanent brought forth in the beauty of the image here took precedence over his scientific approach.
