The Institut du savoir CLARK - or ISC - (CLARK Institute of Knowledge) offers special events where artists and CLARK members are invited to share their own specialized knowledge or experience. Modelled on the master class or thematic evening, these unique gatherings showcase the sometimes lesser-known skills, hobbies, and interests of our community.

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
Has the lockdown left you unmotivated, tired and stressed? CLARK is pleased to offer an introduction to meditation workshop that will give you the tools you need to build a strong daily practice. The workshop includes technical instructions, practical tips, exercises, readings, and discussions. The proposed technique, which taps into the mind’s natural ability for concentration and attention, is accessible to all and is especially useful during the pandemic. The workshop will be conducted in French, but questions in English are welcome.

You don’t need to be a buddha to practice mediation, nor should you quit drinking beer, smoking or eating chocolate. Meditation is an intrinsically inclusive, compassionate and adventurous practice. Artists, with their singular vision, their familiarity with the unexpected, their continuous need to make something from nothing, to find hope in doubt, and wisdom in the unknown, are particularly welcome.
