In collaboration with Est-Nord-Est, Centre d’art et de diffusion CLARK supports a one-month research-creation project as part of cross-residencies. This year’s resident, Nadia Gagné, will reflect on the nuances and complexities of her identity as both a native of the Bas-Saint-Laurent and an Afro-descendant, in the face of a Eurocentric social imaginary that questions (or refuses) her claim to regional belonging.
