David Martineau Lachance

Born in Quebec City and now based in Montréal, David Martineau Lachance completed a BFA in Film Studies and Film Animation at Concordia University, and an MA in Visual and Media Arts at UQAM in Montréal. His works have been exhibited in a wide variety of institutional and independent art centers since 2012 (L’Œil de Poisson, SKOL, L’Écart, FOFA Galery), and screened in international film festivals since 2006 (Berlin ZEBRA, Fantasia, Ottawa International Animation Festival). In parallel, he has participated in various art residencies (MACBSP, Centre Sagamie, La Bande Vidéo), and composes music, hosts a radio show (En direct de Mercure, at 94,3 FM) and makes costumes for theater (MITF, New York).
