10 minutes. Architects and Designers in Conversation is a collection of 24 interviews (english and french) by Stephanie Davidson with architects and designers from 15 countries, about their relationship with materials and how this informs architecture and design’s place in society. Questions of economy, ecology, cooperation, and pedagogy are also at the heart of the conversations, revealing a variety of contemporary, exploratory, and constantly renewed ways of designing and making.

Stephanie Davidson is an architect, designer and teacher. Since 2008, Stephanie Davidson has collaborated with Georg Rafailidis under the name Davidson Rafailidis — an architectural practice based in Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada. T. Stephanie Davidson thinks of protective architecture in terms of its cultural, geographical and social context: how it relates to social organisation, and how our relationship with architecture and existing buildings informs our present. Her practice is based on investigation and encounters, a process that is always affected and attentive, and produces fine, sensitive architectural forms.
