Anne-Marie St-Jean-Aubre

After studying visual arts at the University of Ottawa, Anne-Marie St-Jean Aubre earned a master’s degree in art studies from the Université du Québec à Montréal in 2009. She is particularly interested in the themes of identity and cultural issues explored through contemporary artistic practices. In addition to contributing regularly to various magazines and publications, she has written exhibition catalogs for the Clark Center for Art and Outreach and has taught courses in art history at the Joliette Art Museum. She serves as assistant curator and executive assistant at the SBC Contemporary Art Gallery, in addition to working as a freelance curator.
