This artist’s book was conceived as a complement to the demi-mesure exhibition, sharing its name with the duo formed by Clara Cousineau and Marion Paquette. The publication retraces and highlights the approach developed by the two artists since 2020. It brings together the voices of two Montreal authors: Joséphine Rivard, who contributes an essay, presented with an English translation, and Mimi Haddam, who offers a poetic reflection on the project. The whole unfolds within a carefully orchestrated visual and textual dialogue, thanks to the graphic design of Etienne Murphy and Marion Paquette.
