Carol Priego

Carol Priego is a visual arts mediator and cultural manager. Her work merges art, pedagogy, and social action, exploring the power of art to create connections and transform realities. Her research addresses environmental issues such as pollution, drought, and water. Through an experimental approach, she fosters dialogue about the relationship between humans and their environment. Her projects include Amares Azielos, a creative laboratory at the La Roca del Vallès Youth Detention Center in Barcelona (Spain); ENTRE NOUS (Tunisia); Duduk di Tepi (Indonesia); and Jazmín, a project on destigmatization of gray hair in female bodies. Trained in Politics and Visual Arts, she has worked as a post-production coordinator at ESCAC Studio Color, collaborated with the Filmoteca de Catalunya, and participated in international photography festivals. Her artistic practice aims to create spaces of resistance and empowerment through collective creation.
