Liliam Dooley
Liliam Dooley is a Cuban-American artist and designer based in Saint-Étienne (France). Her work draws inspiration from Cuban popular creative practices, exploring chaos, hybridity, and reuse as both aesthetic and political languages. Using second-hand clothing, iconic posters, and found objects, she creates transformed pieces—garments, installations, and posters—that challenge social order from a dissident perspective. She is a graduate of the San Alejandro Academy and the Instituto Superior de Diseño in Havana (Cuba).
