Michel Archambault

Michel Archambault’s recent sculptures question a certain statuary form; based on working volume and colour they develop a sculptural language where abstraction is morphed with a figurative condition. The acceptation of an aesthetic resulting from the handmade and the constrains and demands of manufacturing here break with the perfection of the beautiful. For CLARK, he will set out to present a new body of sculptures which will be defined as a space of recomposition, a sketch in a place that seeks to expand the exhibition context.
