Join us on Saturday, May 30 at 3:30 p.m. for a performance by artist-in-residence Takuya Takemoto, presented in the Centre’s residency studio at 609B. The one-hour performance will be followed by a conversation with the artist at 4:30 p.m. Open to all, the event will take place in an “in and out” format — drop in whenever you like and stay as long as you wish.
Takuya Takemoto explores the ways in which the body and the environment already present in a place coexist—or could coexist. Through basic actions such as standing, walking, seeing, and listening, he subtly reshapes how we perceive space.
CLARK welcomes the artist as part of a cross-residency with Tokyo Arts and Space (TOKAS) and the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec (CALQ).
