Found objects play an important role in my sculpture projects. For this exhibition, the “pivotal object” was created in my studio. It serves, in a way, as the core around which a sheet of wood is gradually wound (using cutouts and hinges). The evolving installation begins as a simple flat surface and ends as an enormous spiral from which a motley assortment of objects emerges.
