Most of the tIME was spent constructin,g and using mesHes. They were carefully wrought grids of wire, light and mercury woven together with spun glass. Properly adjusted, they could filter this and grasp that until the desired whole fell into place. Superimposed over any situation especially ones which weren’t going well, they helped. Where things needed arranging they assisted by naming. speculating, numbering and much more. Many faceless incidents became worthwhile memories. Minutae and small pleasures were siezed, magnified and estended. Smaller meshes were worn as head pieces, larger ones were stationary. Most were carried in out-stretched arms at various angles. As you can imagine, this near-still dance with its cumbersome steps was tiring for the anns, which sooner or later set down the meshes. The rest of the lime was without measure. Yielding to sensation, movement was now all random gesture, impulsive hurling and the tugs of pure perception.
