Small, heavy metal sculptures mounted on the wall, side by side, like vague portraits that defy anonymity. Heavy chickens. Chickens no bigger than a chicken itself, made from small household objects. A row of nine, all identical. They stand there, silent, like the weather vane’s cold sisters.

The few heavy, round eggs, placed opposite them, are carefully set in a dozen… A metal showcase of prayers, these eggs weigh as much as bags of nails or as door handles that have been lined up or arranged in a joyful procession.
