Denis Pellerin

Pellerin presents a series of collage drawings titled “Fake Plans for a Real Sculpture,” which were created in preparation for his recent participation in the 1st Lemberk Sculpture/Installation Symposium in Czechoslovakia in September 1990. A sort of contemporary icon, his works are self-referential; they do not reinforce the idea of an intangible and absolute reality existing outside of all experience. In these “divergent” images, reality is not deconstructed—it simply dissipates.
