“Coup d’oeil sur la vidéo suisse” (A Glimpse of Swiss Video)—a screening event organized by Thomas Kneubühler and Stella Handler—serves as a retrospective or a curated showcase of the diverse video production styles emerging from the vibrant creative hub of Basel. Since the late 1980s, when the *Schule für Gestaltung*—a Basel-based school specializing in video techniques—opened its doors, Swiss artistic output utilizing this medium as a primary form of expression has grown significantly and become increasingly dynamic. The thirteen videos featured in the program on June 2nd will offer an overview of the major trends defining video production in Basel.
