Here you will see prints on photographic paper. I took these photographs in various locations in Quebec: Port Saint-François, Saint-Gérard des Laurentides, and others. However, the camera isn’t my primary focus. I use it somewhat like when, in the throes of heartbreak, one uses someone to gain affection. My relationship with photography is a precarious romance, a technical rodeo where each shot is a true adventure.

What I offer as works are compositions. I mean that, in addition to the photographic paper, one must consider an installation that existed, of which only a windowed corner has been preserved. By focusing on the composition (the action), I situate the heart of the work somewhere halfway between the lake and the gallery, a blurred space similar to those illustrated here; a nowhere within oneself.
