The installation *Trois fois…bercera…* invites a return to the individual’s inner consciousness. Although the elements comprising the work—a metal structure and transparent veils—initially stand in contrast to one another, they ultimately come together to orchestrate the workings of memory.
One must first enter this realm on tiptoe. Then comes the feeling of intruding upon a sacred or forbidden space—an antechamber of memory harboring obscure recollections and secrets that run deeper than any family album.
One feels privileged to witness such a portrait of humility, struck by confidences that seep into us like a whisper… This intimacy is our own, too.
*Trois fois…bercera…* serves as a reminder of our own joys and sorrows; it pits isolation against a profound desire to communicate—a dynamic embedded in the very functioning of the installation, which relies on visitor interaction.
