An innocent visit to a small town turns deadly when Bill and Nancy unexpectedly come across a mysterious forcefield in the woods near Walker Road. A bloodthirsty alien-demon grows out of Bill’s neck, attacking Nancy and transferring its life-force into her brain, where it will need to feed on new victims to continue to grow and mutate into a fully formed human creature. Nancy befriends Susie, a young, spirited woman, and quickly begins to kill her friends and the town’s residents in inexplicable ways. Can Susie stop the horror? Or will she become the next victim consumed by the creature from hell…

Walker Road and the Creature from Hell is a 90-minute horror movie without moving pictures that includes dialogue, Foley, sound effects, and a musical score. It is strongly influenced by the attitude and independent spirit of Shot On Video culture.

A recluse by nature, Arseneau’s creative output is geared toward honouring the obsessive process of creation itself in order to escape into new ideas and fantasies about the world, or to retreat from the broader world in favour of creating new realities through fiction. He has been making soundtracks for imaginary horror movies since 2013, releasing them on cassette in incredibly limited editions. Walker Road and the Creature from Hell marks his eighteenth soundtrack, and is the first to include an overt narrative thread that emerges from the inclusion of dialogue and Foley sounds; it is literally a horror movie without images.
