Embauche de Melina Vera-Jaramillo

We are pleased to welcome Melina Vera-Jaramillo as the Communications coordinator at Centre CLARK!

Melina is an artist of South American origin based in Tiohtiá:ke/Mooniyang/Montreal. Her practice is rooted in photography and extends to video, installation, and sculpture, often incorporating personal archives and vernacular elements drawn from South American culture. Shaped by her childhood in Medellín, Colombia, her work explores and reinvents narratives related to identity, queer culture, and traditional values. At the heart of her practice lies an interest in oral history and research into experimental imagery, through the exploration of alternative photographic processes and different materialities.

Melina is very much looking forward to contributing to CLARK’s projects and communication strategies, while putting her expertise to work for artists, curators, and the cultural community, both in Quebec and internationally. She is excited about the prospect of developing meaningful collaborations in the coming years.
