Embauche de Sayaka Araniva-Yanez

We are delighted to welcome Sayaka Araniva-Yanez as the new head of Librairie CLARK!

A multidisciplinary Latinx artist from El Salvador, based in Tio’tia:ke/Montreal, Sayaka has been active for several years in the fields of literature and contemporary art. Formerly a co-manager at L’Euguélionne, a feminist and cooperative bookstore, they developed strong expertise in management, curation, and the organization of artistic and political events. As a critic for Estuaire and Liberté, Sayaka has demonstrated a sustained commitment to local artistic communities.

Author of Je regarde de la porno quand je suis triste (Triptyque, 2024), winner of the 2025 Prix des libraires du Québec, Sayaka’s writing explores themes of the body, the carnivalesque, and the sacred.

Sayaka will contribute to the development and outreach of Librairie CLARK, fostering connections between artists, publishers, and readers, and supporting the circulation of art publications in Quebec and beyond.
